Howard Barry Gold
Chairman (appointed 2008)
and Non-executive Director (appointed 2007)
Howard Gold is Joint Senior Partner at Mincoff Jacksons and has been a solicitor since 1969.  Formerly he was chairman of Metnor Group plc for three years from 2004.  Howard Gold brings a wealth of business experience and extensive legal knowledge to Northern Bear, and provides daily support and guidance to the chief executive and the rest of the Northern Bear executive team.

Ian Thomas McLean
Non-Executive Director (appointed 2008)
Ian McLean, who was part of the broking team which originally helped Northern Bear to obtain its listing on AIM, has substantial experience in the City. He has worked in the broking and research community his entire career and, since 2002, has also sat on the board of Quayle Munro Holdings PLC, the AIM listed Edinburgh and London based merchant bank.

Graham Stuart Lindsay Forrest
Chief Executive Officer (appointed 2006)
Graham Forrest graduated from Durham University in 1983 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1986. During his business career, he has served on the boards of four separate public companies in roles including chief executive and finance director. He was involved in three of these companies at the IPO stage. He has responsibility for monitoring the Group's businesses and is instrumental in delivering the Group's growth strategy.

Steven Mark Roberts
Finance Director (appointed 2006 as non-executive director)
Steven Roberts qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 1991. He has worked in corporate finance since 1992. He joined McInnes Corporate Finance Limited as a partner in 1996 and has acted as lead adviser on many small cap transactions. Steven Roberts acted as Interim Finance Director for the Group until May 2007 and, following David Jay’s move to Non-Executive Director, was reappointed to the post of Finance Director in October 2009.

Steven Gray
Operations Director (appointed 2007)
Steven Gray is a founding partner of MGM Ltd, which was set up in 1986, and has been instrumental in the growth and diversification of the company within the restoration and preservation field of the construction industry.  Previously he was a quantity surveyor and gained valuable experience working for both the private and general contracting sectors of the industry.

Keith Soulsby
Operations Director (appointed 2007)
Keith Soulsby founded Wensley Roofing Ltd in 1987 following previous experience with both The Marley Roof Tile Company and a major roofing contracting business in the North East of England.  He is a Fellow of the Institute of Roofing, has served on the regional committee of the North East branch of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors, and has over 30 years experience in the roofing industry. 

Graham Roy Jennings
Operations Director (appointed 2008)
Graham Jennings was Managing Director of Jennings Roofing Limited and its parent company Jennings Properties Limited which were both acquired by Northern Bear on 13 November 2007. He has been involved in the roofing industry in the North of England for 34 years, 27 of which he was Managing Director of Jennings Roofing Limited. He brings vast experience and knowledge of the industry including many longstanding relationships with blue chip customers.
